Getting Here

Fortunately for us, we’re located on an island. What that means for you is that you get to take a boat to us and start your vacation right away.

Chebeague Transportation Company

Chebeague Transportation Company departs from Cousin’s Island in Yarmouth, Maine. Most of our guests use this ferry because it’s only 15 minutes, runs almost every hour and lands right at the base of the Inn. If you’re driving, you’ll want to park in the satellite parking lot on Route 1 in Cumberland, and then take the complimentary shuttle to the ferry (if you’ve ever been to Martha’s Vineyard you know the drill!). If you’re taking a cab or Uber from the airport or bus station, you’ll want the cab driver to bring you to the end of Wharf Rd on Cousin’s Island, Yarmouth, Maine.

Casco Bay Lines

Casco Bay Lines departs from Portland and is a scenic ride that stops at four islands along the way with an audio tour, taking about 1.5 hrs to get to Chebeague. This is a great option if you have the leisure of time and want to experience Casco Bay. This ferry lands at Chandler’s Cove which is on the other side of the island. It’s about a 15 minute drive from us, so please be sure to tell us if you’re opting for this boat so we can have our van waiting for you when you arrive.

Private Boat

We have 8 moorings (yellow with a blue stripe) available on a first come, first serve basis. Feel free to tie up and bring your own dinghy!

There is limited transient town dock space that is also available on a first-come, first-serve basis for a minimal dockage fee ($5.00/hr Mon-Thurs and $7.00/hr Fri-Sun).  Fortunately, the bay is perfect for anchoring as well, so don’t hesitate to give us a call when you anchor and we’ll come and get you!
