Booking Policies

Age Requirement
Guests must be 21 years or older and present valid identification to reserve and check in to Chebeague Island Inn.

Family Policy
Children under 2 stay free of charge. Guests ages 2 to 17 are considered children, and guests 18 and older are considered adults. Most guest rooms accommodate up to two guests, with the exception of the Two Room Suite. Select rooms may connect to accommodate additional guests. Rollaway beds are not available due to fire code restrictions.

A limited number of Pack ’n Plays are available upon request.

Deposit Policy
A deposit equal to 50% of the reservation total, including taxes, is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be charged at check-in.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival may transfer the original deposit to a new reservation within 365 days of the original arrival date. The new reservation must match the original length of stay.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of arrival will be charged for the full reserved stay.


Check-In & Checkout

Check-In
Check-in begins at 3:00pm EST. Guests arriving early are welcome to store luggage with us until their room is ready.

Checkout
Checkout is at 11:00am EST.

Late checkout until 1:00pm EST may be available for a $75 fee, subject to availability. Unauthorized departures after 12:00pm may incur an additional night’s stay.


General Policies

Alcohol
Alcoholic beverages served at the Inn are available only to guests 21 years or older with valid identification. Outside alcohol may not be consumed in the Inn’s public areas.

Pets
Pets are not permitted inside the Inn or restaurant. Dogs are welcome on the lawn areas when kept on a leash.

Smoking
Chebeague Island Inn is a smoke-free property. Smoking is not permitted inside the Inn or restaurant. A $200 cleaning fee will be charged if smoking occurs indoors.


Breakfast

Breakfast is served daily in the dining room and is not included in the room rate.


Payment Policies

Accepted Payment Methods
Chebeague Island Inn accepts major credit cards. Personal checks are not accepted.

Credit & Debit Cards
Credit or debit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of the stay plus incidentals. Authorized funds may take several days after departure to be released by your bank.

Gift Certificates
Gift certificates may be purchased online or by contacting the Inn directly. Gift certificates must be presented at check-in, and a credit card will still be required for incidentals.


Privacy Policy

Chebeague Island Inn respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

Information submitted through our website, reservation system, or contact forms may include your name, email address, phone number, or mailing address. This information is used only to respond to inquiries, process reservations, or communicate with guests.

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties.
