Weddings at Chebeague
The magic of Chebeague Island Inn is never more apparent than when hosting a quintessential Maine seaside ceremony. Our picture perfect location, rich in romance and historic splendor, offers warm ocean breezes, unparalleled views and old-world charm.
Imagine saying "I Do" alongside Casco Bay on our lush lawn, enjoying cocktails and hors d'oeuvres on our wrap-around porch, and moving to your reception tent where the sun will set over the water's edge while you're surrounded by friends and family.
Couples celebrate their love for one another from May through October at Chebeague Island Inn.
The beauty of Chebeague Island adapts with each season, bringing different flowers to bloom and casting shadows from different light. From our summer brides whose love for the ocean inspires their decor, to our autumn brides looking for a backdrop of rich colors and jewel tones, Chebeague Island Inn is the perfect backdrop for your wedding throughout the seasons.
Staying on the Island
We know that an exciting and important element of hosting your wedding at the Inn is the weekend away experience you’re giving your family and friends.
In addition to reserving the rooms at the Inn, most couples reserve some of the rental homes on island – there are more than 35 – so that other guests are able to be close and participate in events. Some houses are within a short walk (think right across the street) and some are a bit farther. They range in sleeping capacity from four to ten people, and are incredibly affordable. We’ll send you the list of rental homes that we know about (more are always popping up), and we encourage you or your planner to do the initial outreach. Then you can help assign people as you see fit. We’ve hosted weddings at the Inn where all 180 guests have been on island!
Know that this is just an option; many couples also reserve room blocks in town and arrange for transportation. We’re happy to help out and provide options and insight.
